Exemplos de Preposições de Lugar
- In – Usado para indicar que algo está contido dentro de algo, como um país, cidade ou edifício. Exemplo: “She is in the room.”
- On – Usado para superfícies. Exemplo: “The book is on the table.”
- At – Usado para pontos específicos ou locais. Exemplo: “Meet me at the entrance.”

- Between – Usado quando algo está no meio de duas coisas. Exemplo: “The cafe is between the bookstore and the library.”

Vocabulário
My name is Ana, and I work in a shop. The shop is in a small town, and it is next to a café. Every day, I stand behind the counter and greet customers. I say, “Hello! Welcome to the shop!” A customer walks in and looks at T-shirts on a shelf. The T-shirts are in front of the jeans. I say, “The T-shirts cost ten reais.” He buys one and pays with money from his wallet.
Another customer, Maria, asks, “Where is the dress?” I point and say, “It’s on the rack, next to the jackets.” She finds the dress and says, “It’s beautiful!” The dress costs fifty reais, and she pays at the counter. I put the dress in a bag and say, “Thank you!” My boss is in the office, behind the shop. She says, “Ana, you work well at the counter!”
At lunch, I go to the café next to the shop. My friend Pedro works behind the counter there. I sit at a table in front of the window and say, “Hi, Pedro!” He brings me a sandwich for five reais. I pay and eat. After lunch, I return to the shop. My sister visits me and stands next to me. She asks, “Is this T-shirt on sale?” I say, “Yes, it’s on the shelf in front of you.” She buys it for ten reais. I love my job because I help people every day.
