Usando First Conditional e Second Conditional

O First Conditional é usado para falar sobre situações futuras reais ou possíveis e suas consequências. O Second Conditional é usado para falar sobre situações hipotéticas ou improváveis e suas consequências.

• First Conditional: If + Present Simple, will + infinitivo. Exemplo: “If it rains, I will stay at home.”
• Second Conditional: If + Past Simple, would + infinitivo. Exemplo: “If I won the lottery, I would travel the world.”

First Conditional

• If it rains, I will stay at home. – Se chover, eu vou ficar em casa.
• If she studies hard, she will pass the exam. – Se ela estudar bastante, ela passará no exame.
• If we leave now, we will arrive on time. – Se sairmos agora, chegaremos a tempo.
• If they invite me, I will go to the party. – Se eles me convidarem, eu irei à festa.

Second Conditional

• If I won the lottery, I would travel the world. – Se eu ganhasse na loteria, eu viajaria pelo mundo.
• If she were here, she would help us. – Se ela estivesse aqui, ela nos ajudaria.
• If we had a car, we would drive to the beach. – Se tivéssemos um carro, dirigiríamos até a praia.
• If they knew the answer, they would tell us. – Se eles soubessem a resposta, nos contariam.
