Bem-vindo à aula sobre “Conjunctions / Linkers”. Nesta lição, você aprenderá como usar conjunções e conectores em inglês para ligar palavras, frases e orações. As conjunções são usadas para unir ideias e criar sentenças mais complexas e coesas.

As conjunções podem ser coordenativas, subordinativas ou correlativas. Exemplos comuns incluem “and” (e), “but” (mas), “or” (ou), “because” (porque), “so” (então), entre outras.

Exemplos de Conjunções e Conectores

Conjunções Coordenativas

She likes apples and oranges. (Ela gosta de maçãs e laranjas.)
He is tall but not very strong. (Ele é alto, mas não muito forte.)
Do you want tea or coffee? (Você quer chá ou café?)

Conjunções Subordinativas

She is happy because she passed the exam. (Ela está feliz porque passou no exame.)
I will go if you come with me. (Eu irei se você vier comigo.)
We stayed home since it was raining. (Nós ficamos em casa já que estava chovendo.)

Conjunções Correlativas

Both you and I are invited. (Tanto você quanto eu estamos convidados.)
Either we can watch a movie or we can play a game. (Ou podemos assistir a um filme ou podemos jogar um jogo.)
Neither John nor Mary was at the party. (Nem John nem Mary estavam na festa.)
