Olá, hoje vamos fazer exercícios práticos usando o Conditional II (Second Conditional). Vamos trabalhar na formação de textos. Seu trabalho é ler o texto em português e tentar traduzir para o inglês. Cada exercício dessa série terá 5 textos.
Texto 1
Se Mike acordasse cedo todos os dias, ele teria mais tempo para tomar café da manhã. Ele poderia ir para o trabalho de ônibus sem se apressar. No trabalho, ele seria mais produtivo e atenderia mais clientes. Ele almoçaria ao meio-dia e ainda teria tempo para relaxar à noite.
Texto 2
Se Mike saísse de casa às sete horas, ele não pegaria trânsito. Ele caminharia até o ponto de ônibus e encontraria sua amiga Joana. Eles conversariam enquanto esperam o ônibus. O ônibus chegaria pontualmente e eles sentariam juntos. Mike sempre escolheria um lugar perto da janela para observar a cidade.
Texto 3
Se Mike chegasse ao trabalho às oito horas, ele cumprimentaria seus colegas e ligaria o computador. Ele verificaria seus e-mails e responderia às mensagens importantes. Ele ajudaria mais clientes e resolveria problemas rapidamente. Às dez horas, ele faria uma pausa para um café e se sentiria mais energizado.

Se Mike fosse almoçar ao meio-dia, ele escolheria um restaurante perto do trabalho. Ele sempre escolheria uma mesa perto da janela. Ele pediria um prato de salada e frango grelhado. Ele conversaria com seus colegas enquanto almoça. Depois de comer, ele tomaria um café e relaxaria por alguns minutos antes de voltar ao trabalho.

Se Mike tivesse uma reunião com clientes às três horas, ele se prepararia revisando suas anotações. Na sala de reuniões, ele cumprimentaria os clientes e apresentaria a agenda do encontro. Ele discutiria projetos e ouviria as preocupações dos clientes. Ele anotaria os pontos importantes e proporia soluções. A reunião terminaria com todos satisfeitos.

If Mike woke up early every day, he would have more time for breakfast. He could go to work by bus without rushing. At work, he would be more productive and help more customers. He would have lunch at noon and still have time to relax in the evening.

If Mike left home at seven o’clock, he wouldn’t hit traffic. He would walk to the bus stop and meet his friend Joana. They would talk while they wait for the bus. The bus would arrive on time and they would sit together. Mike would always choose a seat by the window to watch the city.
Texto 3
If Mike arrived at work at eight o’clock, he would greet his colleagues and turn on the computer. He would check his emails and reply to important messages. He would help more customers and solve problems quickly. At ten o’clock, he would take a coffee break and feel more energized.
Texto 4
If Mike went to lunch at noon, he would choose a restaurant near work. He would always choose a table by the window. He would order a plate of salad and grilled chicken. He would chat with his colleagues while he eats. After eating, he would have a coffee and relax for a few minutes before going back to work.

If Mike had a meeting with clients at three o’clock, he would prepare by reviewing his notes. In the meeting room, he would greet the clients and present the agenda. He would discuss projects and listen to the clients’ concerns. He would take note of the important points and propose solutions. The meeting would end with everyone satisfied.
