My name is Ana, and I work in a shop in a small town. Every day, I see many customers. I count five customers in the morning and ten in the afternoon. My shop has three floors. The first floor sells T-shirts, the second floor sells jeans, and the third floor sells shoes. I work on the first floor because it is busy. I greet customers and say, “Hello! Welcome to the first floor!” They smile and ask for clothes.

Today, one customer buys two T-shirts and one pair of jeans. I tell him, “That’s twenty reais for the T-shirts and fifty reais for the jeans.” He gives me one hundred reais, and I give him thirty reais back. Another customer, Maria, comes in and asks, “Where is the second floor?” I point to the stairs and say, “It’s the second door on your left.” She thanks me and buys three dresses.
